Iris and Dex please one another and let the other know what they want in the bedroom. They’re also healthy in the sense that women aren’t shamed for being sexual and wanting to have sex. Those were definitely steamy and they’re satisfying to read because Mariana has you waiting so long for them to happen.
I would have to give an A+ to the sex scenes too. The bond between these two is so powerful and even the other bikers eventually adopt Iris as one of their own. They watch out for one another and care for one another through thick and thin. The relationship between Iris and Sonny is heartwarming. Due to financial issues Iris moves in with her older half-brother, Sonny. Her mother and grandmother are dead, her father left the family when she was young and her younger brother, who she raised, is away in the army and avoids her calls. It had me itching for them to get together and when they finally do it’s oh so satisfying.Īnother aspect I loved was the family dynamic. The romance is also slow burning, like super slow. I must admit that this kind of trope is one of my favorites. At the beginning of the novel they hate one another but soon their attraction becomes too much to hide. Iris and Locke have a lot of chemistry between them, which I could feel from their first meeting. My favorite part of this book was the romance, duh.
